Personal training in Edinburgh built on real experience
I didn't grow up sporty or confident in the gym.

I walked into a gym for the first time just before turning 40. I was unsure, inexperienced and very aware that I was starting later than most people. I wasn't chasing perfection. I really just wanted to feel better, stronger and more capable in my body
Now heading toward my mid 50's, fitness is a huge part of my life. This isn't because I followed extreme plans, but because I learned what actually works when life gets busy and motivation comes and goes.

My own journey has shaped how I coach people today.

From my journey to coaching others
I’ve trained and coached in busy commercial gyms across Edinburgh, working with people at every stage — from complete beginners to those returning after long breaks.
What I’ve learned is simple most people don’t struggle because they’re lazy. They struggle because training feels confusing, overwhelming or unsustainable.
My job as a personal trainer is to remove those barriers and help you build confidence, strength and consistency — one step at a time.

Strength, confidence & HYROX coaching
As my own training progressed, so did my focus on how my body performs
HYROX requires more than just general fitness - it demands strength, endurance and smart race preparation.
I now coach:
